I like the look of this- leather and alcantara/carbon/wood with a flat bottom. Anyone know how much it costs? Or better yet, does anyone have one?

A bit early to ask if ppl have the Brabus steering wheel in the new SLK since it's so brand new, but it looks similar to the R170 Brabus steering wheel (those who have it, like it).

You can contact Brabus directly ! I would suggest writing a letter to the American Brabus site, they will probably send you a PDF file with the info. The german site usually just tells you to buy their catalogue...

Yes, I have a Brabus sport steering wheel on my SLK32. It feels great! It gives (at least to me) a perceived meatiness to the car's steering action. I like the perforated hand grip area with added girth and contour. The leather is not the slippery, naughahyde leather used on the original AMG wheel but more like Nappa leather. It makes driving the car enjoyable again.

Pics of R170 Brabus Sport wheel

Here are pix of the Brabus sport steering wheel for the R170. No Alcantara like the R171 or AMG Safety Steering wheel but great feel nonetheless.
