Hi,

I have a 2001 C320. I am wondering what are the RPMs suppose to be when cruising at 100 km/h on the highway. My car turns about 2500 - 3000. I am wondering if this is normal as it seems to me a bit high for a V6. I also have 97 C230 which revs about the same.

Thanks

Nope.. thats completely normal... only in a V8 will you notice the lower revs at highway speeds... Mercedes keeps the torque on demand in that range so you can pass on the freeway with ease.
