Any reason to avoid the 2016 E-250 Bluetec?

Please, no wife's tales or rumors...

I'm considering trading my '09 ML-320 Blue in toward a '16 E-250 Blue and would appreciate some real world comments from other owners. We currently have a '12 E-350 Cabriolet (gas) that my wife occasionally drives, have had a pair of '05 E-320s (gas) in the past, and both like the room, comfort and ride of the E-class in general. Our candidate vehicle has 61,000 miles on it and has had the AEM recall completed.

I've heard good things about the 250 diesel from our trusted independent shop, but since the cars are fairly few and far between, I'd like to read what others think.

Turns out the E-250 Blue is non-negotiable on price and about $4,000 over market value. The dealer won't take my ML-320 Blue in on trade unless with a 50% reduction in trade-in value because he doesn't want "older diesels that no one wants to work on anymore".

So - disregard my earlier queries please...:cautious:
