BUllllsheeeet cough cough Sorry Have a Berry Bad Cold ! ;)

Biggest AMG Engine's in production I believe are/were :

6.3 litre V12 producing 444 PS (438 hp/327 kW)

6.0 litre V8 engine producing 381 PS (376 hp/280 kW)

and a very rare 7.3 litre V12

No I don't fink so - it would be like putting a size 10 foot into a size 4 shoe me finks !

48k ? WTF ? NEXT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

seller hitting the crack pipe? looks like it could be a nice low mile coupe with a few AMG upgrades but 6.6 isn't something I've heard of and thought Hammers had special tach and speedo at the least.. $48k?! c'mon now

I believe it to be real..

if you do your research, there was a Red 300ce coupe running a beefy 6.0L, i have seen photos on the web of this car..

here is some

More info:

This car was originally Gary Primm's car of Primm, NV. He bought it new from Mercedes but wanted the two door model that wasn't available. So AMG took the car and put every single option available in it except the vcr video option. The total Gary paid for the car was $198,000 back in 1990. We have pics of when it was torn down for the initial modifications from AMG. I bought it four years ago and had Bruce Strauss Auto Care Inc do all of the servicing. He is the only authorized Hammer shop I know of. Please give the owner of the car a call when you can. He would love to talk about the hammer with you.

Seller emailed me....

I have all the AMG documentation to prove it. It was done in 1990 at the AMG factory in Chicago, IL. It was done for Gary Primm, of Primm Nevada. It had every single AMG upgrade that could be done to it except the VHS player. Thanks

AMG Chicago ?
Did they shut up shop afterwards ?
Sloppy job IMO and I am an expert on sloppy jobs - I have done many myself (not on cars praise be - as I don't profess to being a terribly good handyman).

For 48k I would be expecting the most complete and impeccable job money could buy.

Like bw member ORTOLAN's 440hp fire breather here in Australia :

Or bw member bahnstormers excellent and beautiful widebody

And I would throw RBYCC's widebody into the mix IF HE WOULD JUST POST SOME PICTURES OF IT ! Hahahahahhahaha

But not 48K for something that looks like it was pimped by some backyard hacks who bullied a V8 into it !
