What is the diaphragm of the strut?

When the valve block was faulty in my car,the compressor constantly released air and then filled the struts.

 

The thing is that the car stay up overnight. We'll see.

 

Mine stayed up too,in fact one corner was a little bit higher,because the valve block leaked air into the strut(from the reservoir tank).While driving,compressor filled the strut(s),then released air,filled,released... Could be something else wrong in your car.

 

That´s the same impression I get, that the air is released and then the compressor works for a short interval filling the strut(s) and then some air is released and so on.

 

The Air Bags work by rolling over themselves when they get lower, thus they can seal themselves, then as it tries to raise it exposes the leak that is why this happens as you are saying .

I have taken the car to the workshop and the right front strut is gone. Since the car is 4matic they have to order that
part straight from Germany. The joke is 1348€ final price in official Mercedes Service.
