38 pin diagnostic port on '01 SLK320?

Does anyone know if a '01 SLK320 has the 38 pin diagnostic port? I found this port very easily on the 2000 E320 in the fusebox; however, I can't seem to find one on the '01 SLK320. It's been a long day at work, so I might have just missed it.

If the '01 SLK320 does not have this port, can you still run most of the diagnostic tools from Carsoft via the OBDII port?

OBD II port on USA SLKs. Diagnostics run fine through OBD II using Carsoft.

Hello, I have a 2001 SLK320 and on mine it has the 16 pin Diag socket located under the dash very close to the bonnet release handle. Hope this helps, regards Damian.

So it doesn't have the 38 pin connector?
