Hi Mmb993! Which scanner are you using? When it comes to body-specific technology like the rear camera and night vision, it's really best to have the Mercedes diagnostics as they lead you to the solution instead of just giving you a an error or code.

Not sure what is going on with your Night Vision, here again is where factory diagnostics would give you a better view of what's going on.

 

Hi thank you for your reply. I’m not sure if the w221 2013 will have the wire issue. I don’t know which type of scanner the guy was using but it was showing short circuit for the camera wire. I will still check the wire when i can but I’m a bit confused because the night vision should be working. I believe they’re not supposed to be rela

Thank you for your help. Maybe there’s an ecu for it or something because i have checked the fuses all around but they are working. At least it should show a black screen but nothing at all. Thank you again.
