I've looked for the amber a few times in ebay, where did you find them?

I would love to do the same, as the amber turn signal is more safe/noticeable when dark or bad weather.

It should be a straight swap, as the turn signal element is only used for turn signal not combined brake light. 1 plug and 3 screws (per side), that is it if I remember right.

Bought them off Amazon (make sure they are CREE and not standard LED. You will need to wire in 25W load resistors for each side (also off amazon). Very easy. I used aluminum heater tape to secure them to SOB frame. I soldered the connections but wire nuts/splices will work too.

I wonder your 2015 ML tail lights are the same shape as my 2012 ML?
I also wonder if there is a way to change just the amber lights etc?

Yes fitment is same for 2012-2015 ML. The entire unit needs to be swapped out as the lens is one molded ABS unit. It's a great look if you go ahead and swap the tail lights. Even my dealer wanted to know how I got the Euro tail lights....with amber turn signals!

$400 for the set. Sold the old lens pair on Ebay for $250, so net was $150. Hope this helps.

 

Has anyone checked into changing the headlights to the euro version? I love the all white look vs the yellow led version we get in NA.

 

It has passed my mind several times, but so far I've not looked into it :smile

Did you have to make any coding change? Or it was just simple swap? I recently moved to the UK and I am dealing with this issue now Where my read indicator needs to be Amber and my front positioning lights need to be white instead of amber.
