Also, why does in not say on the front on the forum c250?

I've got one - just a few weeks now. I have the Luxury model. The Sport has staggered wheels and a harder suspension. And NO HOOD ORNAMENT :(

This is my commuter car, wanted some luxury and softness for a change. I have no problems with the power. It's a 1.8 liter engine with 200hp - very smooth and pulls very well for passing. On the highway, passing is very comparable to larger engined A4 and 328i. Check out all the comparisons on major magazines.

I like almost everything about it. It is a great size, the Audi A4 is so big these days. It's very solid. The interior is classic - no gimmicks or over-design.

My complaint: COMAND system. Why can't car makers all just use touch screen nav with redundant buttons like last gen Lexus and current VW?

Got mine on Sunday. C250 sport, Steel Grey, sport package, lighting package, convenience package 1. Love it so far.

The power is fine. Pretty quick for a 1.8 turbo, but not as quick as the BMW 328 or the A4. Interior is MUCH better than the BMW. Handling is very good and it lets you know when it gets near the limit. Haven't even used up a tank of gas yet so I can't comment on the mileage. If you get one you MUST get the lighting package. Pretty impressive.

Dislikes? None really so far.

I have a 2012 (8600 miles) and as far as I know, the only differences for 2013 are the media interface, and some knobs as well as some interior tweaks. I have a Sport Sedan, so you will have a suspension that's a bit stiffer and some aesthetic differences. Like the other users said, the C250 has real nice passing power, but is still very slow. Also, when I test drove the 328i and the A4, I felt like the Benz felt a lot more nimble than the other two cars. In the city, I get about 20-22 MPG and on the highway, it's not difficult to get 30+. As far as city MPG, it may be my style of driving as she's always in "S", it's the only way to feel some real power haha.

Likes: Handling, mid range power, Mercedes Benz quality, updated interior (when compared to the Audi and BMW interior, the Benz seems newer while the other two seem a bit outdated)

Dislikes: Somewhat slow, noticeable turbo-lag if punched off the line. In addition, I feel like there is not that much legroom in the back seats. (5'9" skinny ass dude)

There are also a bunch of subjective factors that you might wanna consider, such as looks. Some people don't like the 2012+ facelift, some do. All in all, I am very pleased with my choice (although not a '13, like yours, close enough, right?) and wouldn't trade it in for anything else.

Good luck with your purchase!!

Our '13 C250 is about a month old. Really nice car, but not quite as much fun to drive as our '08 C350 was. We're just under 1K miles, so haven't really driven it in Sport mode yet - our car has the AMG package, 18" wheels, etc. It has the Becker nav system (not good with it yet), and we like the dash layout better than the '08 car. The car seems to be in too much of a hurry to shift up in the low gears (in town/traffic), but seems to be better as the engine is breaking in. Car has decent power, but my wife has not done a business trip yet, so I can't report on the mileage.

Be aware of what you're ordering/buying, it seems that every car is built with different options/groups. Our '13 does not have fold-in mirrors, Sirius radio, heated seats or back-up camera, but our lease broker referred to the car as "loaded". That term certainly means different things to different people! That said, my wife loves her new car, it's lighter on its feet than the '08 (almost to light for me), and the brakes, now broken in, are superb.

I just purchased a 2012 C250 Coupe. Spent about a month deciding between this, the BMW 128i, the Audi A4/A5, and the 2013 Ford Mustang (yes, apples and oranges).

The C250 is the "slowest" of the bunch, but coming from 20 years of V6 SUVs and trucks, it is a blast to drive. If it was an issue, I could have found a V6, or spent a lot more on and AMG. Handling seems tight, and while there is turbo lag from a stop, on the highway passing power is good as the turbo is already up to speed. I am also getting used to using the paddle shifters to drop a gear in anticipation of acceleration, where I am at low speed and want to move out quick.

To me, the C250 has the best quality interior of the bunch, followed by the Audi. The fit and finish show quality. The sport seats are a bit bigger than the BMW 128i (wider, I could stand to lose a few pounds), but support me well laterally when I am cornering. Very firm too, which will take a bit of getting used to (from soft American truck seats).

I only have few things I wish this vehicle had: more ambient lighting in the footwells, a bit more headroom in the coupe, the ability to change the color scheme in the two LCD displays (tan/brown does not match my aluminum/ash/black interior).

Overall I am very happy with my choice, and may now be a MB driver for life!

Agree to all of the above comments. I have a month old 2013 C250W (White in Black) and the acceleration is not even close to my 328i. IMHO, the C250 is way over priced and is built for the looks than a car it represent itself. As expected,1.8 ltr turbo engine is a disgrace but the car looks gorgeous. Package includes 18" AMG wheels, rear spoiler, Lighting package and Keyless go @40k OTD. I am very happy with the purchase because wife gave me back my bimmer :eclipsee_steering:

I love my C250 Coupe. The fuel mileage that I can pull is over 32mpg on a trip and I'm not sticking to the slow lane. I decided on the MB because most of my driving is long distance. It was the most comfortable to drive and offered some sportiness. I have noticed the turbo lag off the line, but playing around with the paddle shifters has made a difference. Leaving the transmission to do all the thinking ruins the drive.

I bought a juice box, and that makes things more fun, noticeably more fun. It works best when its under 50F outside. It gets squirrely once things get warm.

Did you see the car in Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise?

No, this is a 4cyl turbo. I get like 26mpg and I have only ever driven this car in sport. Im a 18 y/o kid and I slam this car around. It isn't fast or anything, I just like speed. But yeah, if im getting 26mpg, and ur driving normal? you should b getting more.

Now past 5K miles on our 2013 C 250, and the scary gasoline leak on top of the engine is, hopefully, a thing of the past (see my thread "WTH?...)! I'm confused about some posters complaints regarding power, our car performs very well (in "S" mode), and is fun to drive. Our car has options 486 (sport suspension), 772 (AMG Sportline), 952, 954, and 786 (18" AMG wheels). Overall; good car.

I just bought a 2013.
White
Sport Body Styling
Sport Suspension
Keyless go
AMG 5spoke wheels
Premium package
multimedia package

Love it ....

Came from a VW EOS so the car is the same speed.
If you put it in S mode it is quick... much faster feeling than the E sleeper mode.

Not really a performance vehicle but sure looks like one, interior is awesome. Ride is smooth, my wife loves it. She is not into performance but does not want to look like she is in an old person car so the sportier the better....

Sun roof is great, the sliding screen on top is different.

THe only complaint I have is the passenger side seat does not move forward with controls on the seat, so the only way to move it forward, if someone wants to get in the car, is to pull on the manual seat adjustment which is on the far side of the passenger seat. They should have put it on the seat near the door so you wouldnt need to twist yourself to get to it....

My wife is in love with it...! She named it St. Christopher cause its white and of course St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers. LOL
