hi there this is my first forum post.e320 cdi 211.026
im having a problem rectifying a fault code 2025 pressure sensor downstream of air cleaner, signal voltage is too low permanent
now a list of changed components;turbo, aps on mass meter, ecu went to bba reman for testing no fault found
as specific as possible
here is where im at;on live data i have a reading of 1025kpa on the air filter atmospheric pressure sensor. ive got a 5v feed on the brown wire of the atmosperic pressure sensor the red wire shows a 3.56v then when i vacuum the sensor it rises to 4,80v max so i have a reaction reading sensor end.ecu end i find the same red wire splice in and get the same 3.56v then when i vac the sensor the voltage rises to max 4.80v showing that the ecu is recieving the data from the sensor.the problem is that the 1025kpa live data does not change no matter how much i vac the sensor.any ideas please?has the ecu tripped for any reason not to recognise an atmospheric air pressure sensor?thanks

jeasdv,

Welcome to the forum. This is the best place to seek help, unfortunately I am unable to answer your question but someone will soon respond that can. Good Luck!

Cheers.

Sorry guy, guess I was way wrong...this used to be a very helpful site.

P02025 = The signal voltage is too low or too high The atmospheric pressure between the pressure sensor downstream of air cleaner and CDI control unit is implausible.
It does not mean the voltage is just too low as the OP posted.

If I can get to a machine with WIS on it I will find out what values are in spec and maybe discover why the KPA is stuck at 1025.

Thanks both of you for responding but I believe the fellow gave up after a month without reply. Cheers.
