Hello all. I have searched for almost an hour and got nothing. Does anyone have a fuse chart for an ,02 s55? All the ones here do not match up with the s55. I just really need to know which one is for the sunroof. Thanks ahead for any help offered:D

For AMG & 12-Cyl. with Date 24.03.2003 it is the same chart (earlier modells may be different). They only have an additional fuse-box at engine compartment front wall. The sunroof relates to fuse 77 - also when non AMG preMopf .

Fuse 77 is not only for the sunroof. It is for the complete control unit with dome lamp, garage door opener, inner rear view mirror and its motor (memory). If this equipment works it is not the fuse.

Im wanting to pull the fuse because I have an issue with the sunroof poping open on start up. I have to turn the car off for a minute and restart before the button will work to close the sunroof. I made a thread on it "My S55 has a mind of its own". With the fall here its been raining more and that issue would be a bad thing to happen in the rain.

Then you have tried this?

To do so, turn electronic key in steering lock to position 2, move and hold switch in direction (3), until the sliding/pop-up roof is completely raised at rear, and hold for additional 1 second. If the pop-up roof simply will not open or close all the way after using this procedure, clean the tracks and lubricate them with the MB lubricant made for the purpose. - and try again.

The MB lube A0019894651 seems to be very special. Here in D you can only purchase 500gr = 18 oz - too much for the life of a car. Ask the dealer for a small portion and may be you will get a give away.

OK the MB tool to open sunroof and white lithium grease worked. All works as new again. Now have to wait and see if all works well when I have the start up problem. If all works I will need to find out problem that causes the roof to pop open on start up. Im still reading up on the SAM info. I will update soon.

Hey all I have created a pdf of the fuse chart to keep on my phone, works great. I must thank "JOHNNY7623" as I used the diagrams he posted in 2006. Here is the file for anyone that would like to have it. Saves wearing the paper one out too. Easy reference where ever you are.

First up the chart covers the S55 AMG from "015 Chassis A 191481 30/6/2001 except model year 801" to "025 Chassis A372602 30/9/2002 except model year 803". Skylaw, the fuse chart part number is A0005451600 and is for the following models:

Yeah okay sorry but everyone will just have to live with the spelling. Still it's not bad for someone that suffers with dyslexia. As for the other models get me a copy of the fuse charts and I'll see what I can do for you.

Thanks again, pinkster! Really nice job, and the additional chart on the applicability to the different models is helpful as well.

We have fuse charts for other models in the Encyclopedia in the "fuse locations" section at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w22...rums/w220-s-class/1508080-w220-s-class-encyclopedia-start-here.html#post4785769 but none are as clear or easy to read as yours. If you wanted to "clean those up" I think a lot of members would benefit - but it looks like a lot of work.
