This is my first post on here but I've learned some awesome tricks on like the holes in the Thermostat and other little tricks so thank you!

Now, I finally almost done with my car that I basically rescued from the dead and brought it back to life.

I have been going back and forth on what the value would be as I am most likely selling it here shortly. I just don't have a garage for it anymore, which sucks!

It's only got 106k miles, verified. The interior is absolutely immaculate, I love the blue on it - the exterior paint was freshened up. Some apparently rich guy from Palm Springs owned it and then donated it to charity, I purchased it from a friend knowing I'd have to do some items to it (listed below).

I had king of gathered some data that is telling me between 16k-20k, but I could be wrong???

What I did:

4/18/2025 - Behr Radiator Installed (newer style).
4/18/20205 – Thermostat + Coolant flush done
4/19/2025 – Diesel Purge completed w/ Diesel Kleen, Rislone Hypercool added to coolant.
4/20/2025 – Installed newer Brake booster (good rebuilt used)
4/28/2025 – Installed New BOSCH Diesel Injectors in and with updated Glow plug wiring.
4/29/2025 – Made a copy of ignition key at M&M Locksmith
4/30/2025 – Ordered and updated Trans cooler line to Behr Radiator.
5/2/2025 – Installed new fuel pump Injector lines to fuel filter and (5) injector lines w/ fuel filter and small inline filter from tank.
5/6/2025 – Valves Fully Adjusted (Intake / Exhaust) done by Sam Golden (Mercedez Geek).
5/10/2025 – Installed new thermostat (Murray 180 degree) and did Benzworld (better flow) procedure.
5/23/2025 – Tires Mounted and rebalanced, check with Tire shop and okay (no checking, or cracking). Done at 105,860 miles.
5/24/2025 – Ordered newer style and updated Alternator from Amazon + H4’s.
5/27/2025 – Installed the brighter HID H4 Lights that conform to look. 105, 970 miles.
5/28/2025 – Oscar (mechanic) installed Motor Mounts, new belts and Alternator. 105,980 miles.
6/01/2025 – Had Sam (check over mileage tracking on Odometer), cleaned up internals and lubricated gears. (Not adjusted or rolled) $150.00
6/6/2025 – Removed old SERVO II Climate Controlled unit (old style plastic body) cracked – rendering bad unit. Ordered new SERVO II Unit off eBay for $600.00 and check Amplifier and checks good. New Body style Servo Unit from Christian with Aluminum body’s and rebuilt (MBDIESEL1).
6/10/2025 – Swapped Batteries on car, old one having issue with holding charge.
6/25/2025 – Complete fluids done at 106,130 w/ AC DELCO 15w40 Synthetic DIESEL type of oil + added in Benz recommended Mos2 anti-friction Liqui Moly.
8/15/2025 – Added on Battery tender setup for Battery.
8/22/2025 – Purchased $135.00 Glow Plug Relay from Onagers (Mercedes shop).
8/23/2025 – Took car to JJ Autobody to do paint detailing and check over what was needed on the car and waxed and compounded and cleaned up seals.
9/18/2025 – Picked up 300D from JJ, back home 45+ mile drive.

It's really great looking, you may add some photos from engine compartment and a word about A/C health as well.

 

Thank you, a lot of love went into her! I will take some more pictures of the engine bay. The AC Compressor has been updated and changed and updated to R134a, I need to vacuum it down and then pump some new freon in it, I think it may have air in the system. I did a spot small charge of it, and the compressor started engaging. New Servo as mentioned, and I do get heat now... lol these old systems are funny but still work!

 

It's beautiful. It should sell easily I would think.
