For EPC when you click it Java will ask if you want to run, click yes. Then yes again, followed by no to the next question.....For WIS click yes then no.

 

EWA can be very fussy in regard to both Java and Adobe Reader, i.e. it doesn't always like the latest versions.

Mine only works with internet explorer, it won't work with google....Do you get this?

 

If you have a version of Java loaded on your computer, try removing it first. If it is too new a version for your version of EWA, the install routine will fail, because the Java install will stumble at the notion of overwriting a more current version. It may not help, but it's worth a try...

 

I do get all the green check marks, but when I click on the EPC or the WIS . . . it starts intiallizing and Java loads. Soon after Java loads I get the security question, after that nothing happens or I get the "error while attempting login action. contact system administrator". Is their a service manual specific for the S550?

 

Did all discs load ok? I think I had to click the EPC update and run it and it asked for a disc that I'd already done,so I ran that disc and all was well. Open EWA and click the EPC with the spanner next to it, run that and then do the same with WIS.

 

guys I have the same problem except for that I couldn't install the database completely
it said make sure the insert media is corret. try to re-install it or order a different package ( or something like that )
I'm working on windows 7 64bit


in addition, when I go to EWA admin tool
n click on EPC
it says The EPC net database is not installed
how to fix it ?
what can I do guys ?
