Ok, so I had a little miss at idle, but plenty of power on the top end and decided to do some engine work over the weekend to correct the miss. Big mistake. I set the fuel pressure to 28psi, and set the timing to about 3 before TDC. Now, it idles okay (not perfect) but I don't have any engine power. Zero. The engine spits and sputters under a load and won't get over 5mph going up a 6 or 7 degree incline. Has anyone had any problems like this before? Your advice is very much appreciated.

Hmmmmm. Don't know a whole lot about these cars, but the specs in the repair manual say the fuel pressure should be from 40-80 psi. On my 78 I set the timing to 5 ATDC and got a noticable performance boost.
