I think $10K is the most it's worth. Also, be extra cautious about any Gulf Coast car. There are many flood and storm damaged cars from Texas all the way through Florida.

Probably not fool proof, but www.nicb.org maintains a list of flood/hurricane damaged vehicles. Requires a claim to be filed with an insurance company.

I just bought a 1995 E300D with 104k miles on it 8 months ago. Local one owner car with records. I paid $10k out the door for it. They were asking $13,500.00 for it, but someone came along an keyed the car thus bringing down the price. I would expect to pay 11-12k for that car. Looks like a very nice and clean example. Only thing hurting that car is the color, I don't beleive it's the best seller in terms of exterior color, but neither is mine I guess, smoke silver. Doesn't really matter at 26-37 mpg who cares!!!! I now have 114k miles and really love this car! It will be in my stable for many more years to come Let us know if you make the purchase. Good Luck!

very nice love the color and pretty good miles. i prefer the turbo like mine for a little extra juice. i believe they stopped putting turbo in at 93' and strted it that up in 98 wiht the new body style.
the turbo help out alot in my elevation.[]
