haha, i just did all of those :)

spark plugs were due, so i replaced them, then my belt made noise and i suspected that maybe the loose belt is what caused my temp to rise when i stopped for long periods of time. i replaced the entire tensioner system and my belt. i also took this as a chance to clean up my engine area, especially on the front there so i can see where the oil is coming from.

i did all this about a week ago and havent had any problems with temperature, but i havent really been stopped much. (it could be my aux fans not coming on)

also, i havent seen any oil return yet, so i may have fixed it a while back when i replaced my camshaft adjuster magnet.

now my to do list consists of motor mounts and flex discs. i think those will probably wait till after summer becasue i will be leaving for 3 months here in may and the car wont be driven :(

what caused you to get new rear window actuators? a mod or just something that needed to be done? im looking at making my rear windows auto down, but the front switch wont fit into the rear connector. i was thinking about getting a front connector and front switch and then making the front connector go into the rear wires, if that makes sense haha. what all do you think needs to be done to make the rear windows auto down?

To do list.

Apart from the regular stuff (Oil change, Tire rotation).

I need an idler arm bushing kit. I have a slight shimmy on the steering wheel after doing hard U turns. It showes up on the highway at above posted speed limits, and then goes away after a few miles.

- oil change, filter
- new plastic wheel well covers
- new plastic fender to brake disc cooling port
- get fender painted
- sunroof overhaul
- find oil(?) leak
- rims polished (couple weeks), new rear 255/35 18" tires (ready)
- leather driver's seat repair
- maybe new fuel filter
- shifter bushing
- after all that a good cleaning, polish finish

Done:
- fixed the front fender
- new exhaust
- new driver's airbag
- TB cleaning
- starter refurbished
- spark cover painted black
- K&N air filter

Investments since autum (no driving) will reach about 1500$ but well worth it.

I first polished mine about a year ago, but I was too lazy to take care of it :D
So I thought mat black would look good for this season.

you two should start new threads, and search around the forum, there is plenty of information on both of those topics.

yeah i remember seeing that on here a while back. i was originally going to try to do that to my who valve cover and then i said forget that haha. i would see kompressors with their spark covers painted red, but i figured a flat black would be better. i think i painted mine a semi gloss, which matches up perfectly with my plastic under the hood because i usually armorall the plastic.

My To-Do's:

Car has 91k miles now.

1. 2nd transmission service
2. Narrow down the noise and general loose feeling over rough roads in front suspension
3. Front sits 1" higher than the back, I want to level it out
4. Professional detail
5. Get a new key (I only have one and range is getting worse)

Other than those minor issues, the car needs nothing else.

I have been quoted anywhere from $100 - $200... I am only going to have the outside detailed, my interior is perfect and I don't want any nasty chemicals/smells in there... I just clean the inside with water and leather and vinyl conditioners... $200 with rock chip touch up.
