Let's not compare how much they would cost (total). What would be your choice (if there are only these)? Thanks

Seasonal cars... less miles on each.

1 Lux
1 Touring
1 Sport
As of now, 80% for option one. Why? Because the more choices you have the more fun you have.

MB convertible for pretty days.
Lexus sedan for long highway cruises.
BMW M3 for powering the pavement.

Seems kind of wasteful, though, because the MB and the M3 can do the same job, and when you add in another car that'll need repairs and insurance, I'd dump the M3 pretty quickly.
Oh, how about an '83 500SL AMG manual and an '84 280E AMG manual?

That'd REALLY work.:D

Ouch. Point taken. Want to buy a w123 AMG with a 5-speed?
Actually, my eyes are on the second one (2 benzes) because I love the CL55 (AMG). I currently have 99 S420, 99 SL500, and 01 LS430. The lexus has been very very reliable which I am a bit reluctant to get rid of. The 99 S420 would go (for sure) to replace with something faster.

There are also so many M3 out there compare to the CL55. I have no idea about the M3. 2 cars also mean less headache LOL.

Would I want to replace the Lexus for something (certainly much more fun) that would break all the time?

Anyway, THANKS for thoughts and time.
As of now, more ppl went with the 2 benzes choices so I guess I am gonna go that route. Thanks.

AMG ... here I come LOL.
3 cars means 3 insurance premiums, 3 repair bills and 3 places to store them. I am building another garage as we speak!

I do. But I don't think I can get that one past the wife.
if it was me i'd get the cl55, M3 and ditch the sl500....but the cl's a money pit right?

I've planed to replace the SL500 with SL55 (2003 or 2004) within 2 years. I need a convertible for fun (and to my standard, convertible has to be a roadster).

I always thought a roadster is a 2-seater convertible car. Anyways, what I am saying is I don't want a convertible with more than 2 seats.

That's said, M3 does look really nice. Thanks for the suggestion.
CL55 100%. that's a badass car.
Are there significant differences between 2003 and 2004 CL55?
not sure, you better go ask the cl boys in their forum...if you do plan to replace the sl with a sl55 you might as well give the m3 a go instead of the cl55...after all wouldnt the sl55 be quicker than the cl? and the m3's a 2 door coupe anyway...anyway keep us posted!
CL forum almost never responses to any questions :-(.

You seem to love the M3 eh? LOL.

yeah not many folks on the CL board huh...hmm i'm not really a modern car fan to tell you the truth, my dream cars since i was little were the w126 sec coupes and the lancia stratos...but if i had to buy a new car i'd def give the M3 a go..it's had to ignore when it's been praised by so many...why don't you test drive all the cars and see which ones you like best?
