Hello,
I have the standard 16" 2001 SLK 230 rims. I have 83K miles and have installed two sets of Yokohama Avid V4S so far. I've used these tires on our cars, including my 81' DeLorean, and have had excellent luck on tread wear. However, I can't recall when my SLK seemed to start having a "noiser" ride. Has anyone noticed a noiser ride with any of the similar Yokohama tires? Anyone have any experience that would say buying a more expensive tire rated for a quieter ride makes a difference?
For example, Tirerack.com rated them an 8.3 compared to a 8.6 on the Goodyear F1 GS-DS3. Thanks.
Bill
