Thanks Oscar, I was hoping someone had a used one to save a few bucks. You ever do anything with the wheels?

Hey there

Thanks Oscar, I was hoping someone had a used one to save a few bucks. You ever do anything with the wheels?
Hey, sorry I haven't gotten back to you..

Those wheels are still on the SLC parts car, and I can't even get close to it right now.

It's under a tarp, but surronded by about 3 to 4 feet of drift snow next to the back garage...

When the snow goes away I'll see what I can do...

As a matter of fact, all I want off the SLC parts car is the Lorinzer Kit, the rest I'll probably just scrap..

If your interested, you can have the entire SLC (minus the Lorinser Kit) for free... just take it away...

It's a rust bucket, the previous owner drove it year round in the DC area, but it still runs.

I drove it up from DC, you should have seen horrified looks I got.

It's still a fairly fast old car, and it has straight pipes on it, so it has a real throaty roar.

When I drove it up from DC, I'd pull along side a newer Benz or Beemer and rev the engine, the looks were precious...lol

The first picture was from when the car was new, great looking... the next is what it looks like after 30 years of abuse.... really sad..

If you can clean it up to look like the first pic I'll consider taking it off your hands for free, otherwise I'll see you in the spring.

If pete does not take your generous offer, would you consider parting out the rest. Of particular interest is the wheels. I cannot tell from the photos, but if they are suitable for a 560, I would be interested. They look similar to BBS basket weaves. The 560 has a problem with fitment in front, due to the large, 4-piston calipers. Likely, the rims will not fit...

Thanks dbarakat, this is what Crowders shows, it is a 20mm spline. They do not list the particular car, an 84 280sl but show the part for sl's over 79 vintage.

Hub

The spline on my hub is 20mm but it may be for and older vintage MB. The number 0130 is embossed on the top of the hub if that helps??

I called Crowers and that number is not a Nardi number. Is the bolt pattern 2.85" ? If so PM me a price.

Thanks
