Looking to buy a 2000 E430 Computer. Called the brain box also. Please let me know if you know of a place I can get one cheap. Car wont start, mechanic says that it is due to no power or electricity to the injectors or so. I'm in houston TX. I have got prices from $99-1,500. I have no Idea why they vary so much. My car would crank but not turn on. It would cut off after cranking for about 8 seconds. When it would cool down the car would start again. Weird!!!!

I have a 98 E430 with 82k, have never had any major problems with it yet. Today when i went to start the car, I would keep hearing the starter, but it wouldn't turn over to actually start the engine. (The starting noise would just keep repeating but engine would not kick in)
I kept trying to start the car and this happened about four times, soon after it started up without no problem.
