After reading some discussions over on MBWorld, I discovered that I somehow have the short, wide C280 intake, instead of the big C36 in take with the "3.6" written on it.

If anyone has one, or a place I can get one, whether it has the 3.6 emblem or not (I know some don't) please let me know.

I WANT MY POWER BACK!

Exactly, that one is for a C280 and not the C36 AMG.

The availability of the C36 intake crossover pipe in the general arena including Ebay et al, is like the availability of hen's teeth...

However, the C36 intake crossover pipe is easily available from your friendly local MB Dealer...albeit at a rather handsome price.

I also gave up in the end and bought one from the dealer.

hi i have been having the misfire problem i was installing a new air flow sensor and i noticed on my cross over pipe the two nipple looking things that go down to the intake manfold are allwarped and crakes and messed up also my cross over pipe isnt mounted down at all. i think i need a new cross over pipe. i think this whole issues is causing a leak in the vacuum which may be leading to the whole issue with my misfires. what do you guys think.

I repaired mine myself by making metal PCV suckers and sending them down the two grommets in the valvecover. Used copper plumbing pipes and the diameters worked out great.
