Hello,

Does anybody have a set of 15 Hole R129/EVO1 wheels they want to get rid of? Looking for sort of cheap (shipped) to me. The finish doesn't really matter much but would like to have them straight and next to know curb rash or scrapes. These would be going on my 190E Cosworth. Please let me know! Thanks!!

I have a set that has peeling chrome, I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure rash free.

ive seen 1 or 2 sets for sale in the SoCal area..


i paid $80 for a set of 8 hole 16" r129 rims, with tires(which i dumped) just last year..

bough a set of chrome evo1 wheels a few years ago for my smoke silver cosworth for $250 in perfect condition..

theyre out there, for sure.. i saw a set of evo1's, non chrome, for very very cheap just a cpl weeks ago.. check Craigslist LA, and search "mercedes 16", click the "title" box, and you should see LA and OC listings.. you will find what youre looking for.. and they may be willing to ship if you cant find some on the forum..

there is a set of lorinser LO 16x7.5 et35 on ebay.. as an evo1 alternative, they look great!

Yeah I saw those too! A little bit expensive and a half inch narrower though .

I'll try your other suggestion of checking out Cali CL.

That's what you pay for a set, if one can be found in the wrecking yard.
Usually there will be at least one bad wheel, it took me a while to get 6 decent wheels together (4 mounted on my W201, 2 spares kept, not fs ).
Your pic shows a set in mint condition. If you can find something similar around $350-400, you are doing good imo.

It took me a while. My 6 wheels came from three R129.

Hopefully I can find two more good condition ones! Just got two in minty condition on eBay. I guess they pop up sometimes.
