Does anyone here a WSA-2000 SLK Windscreen. If so, how do you like it?
Simply an excellent windblocker. Get's dirty, so you need to clean it every now and then. It is a bit pricy, but it does not limit your visibility, and it allows you to drive on highway top down and speak to your hands-free car kit without any problems.

So at night, you do not have problems with relections?

My experience ....

In the middle of Jan last year, I drove my SLK from Dallas to Washington DC top down the whole way, and the temperature was below freezing most of the time. I only had a regular sweater plus a jacket. WSA helped keep the cockpit warm, and kept my drive safe by providing good visibility.

It rarely gives you any glares during sunrise or sunset.

There are little cracks on the screen around roller bar area, and I could feel a little stream of cold wind going through them at night. I had to aim my vent to counter the cold wind, or it would be so cold to make me feel my ears could get cut off. I could not imagine how cold I would feel without the windscreen.

It is pricey, but well worth your $$.

I just switched from the stock fish net to the 2000 earlier this year and it makes a huge difference.

Definitly worth the money.

Only downside is that if you are tall and have your seats all the way back you will get an annoying squeeking noise when the headrest rubs against the plexiglass.

Well, I returned home a minute ago. It is a nice day in Texas. I drove 35E top down, speaking in my Nokia Bluetoot Car Kit all the way (http://eerola.home.comcast.net/auto/diy/170handsfree/index.html).

Of course the windblocker does not protect you from noises like Peterbuilt engine noise when you pass it. But the turbulence in the cabin is minimal when you drive with a 2000 and windows up.

To be honest with you, there are some glares every now and then. I guess this is pretty natural, since the blocker is made of plastic. But nothing really worth of mentioning.

In my opinnion, the WSA 2000 is one of my best purchases for the SLK. There is no need to remove the WSA 2000 but for cleaning. You have perfect visibility to every direction top up and top down. The cabin turbulence is really minimal, and because of this you can actually take the top down also when it is not actually very warm.

The only down-side to mention is that the 2000 limits your seat travel a bit. To me this is not a problem at all, since I am 180 cm. But if you are 195 cm or so, you will not like the fact that you can not bring the seat to the very back.

I am thinking the WSA-2000 does a better job at blocking the wind than a WSA-3000. Is that true? And is their a better windscreen product out there?
