Hey there, any of you guys carried out any mods on your cars that you would highly recommend to other 140 owners?
With particular reference if possible to the 1996 Euro CL500.

Be it chips, suspension parts or otherwise. It'd be interesting to hear, just for the record all that has been done to mine is a change of shoes. Away went the origonal 5 hole 18s, and in came some AMG style IIIs in a 19".

That's a nice idea. Tell you what's really cool are those projector headlights that I don't believe are available for the coupe though.

Oh of course, great idea actually saves getting fined by the 5-0. Mine came with a Nokia kit already in it so that's not on my list. But I am looking at iPod integration. Possibly wire it straight to the amp and finding something else to stick in the slot where the stereo was. I never use the radio so I shouldn't miss it.

I've got a headunit that takes a USB connection and what I did was cut a small bit of veneer and shape it so it holds the mp3 player in the ashtray and it's all padded with some foam etc.

You know what I find difficult is finding a nice head unit that doesn't in my opinion look out of place in the car. All the new ones I've seen look like they come from the USS Enterprise and of course the old ones don't have USB.

Yea this one is not too bad, it's black with a red backlight on the buttons so it kinda matches the car the only thing that worries me about it is all the buttons are silver

The mp3 player is not in there but you can see the bit of wood it fits in there along with the headunit.
