Apologies in advance for creating a new thread, I can always delete this if I need to. This is my project car, a ‘79 280se Euro. Anthracite Gray, Bundt wheels, and quad headlights. Only option is a sunroof?

I am uncertain of the interior color, cream green? The previous owner all but destroyed the vehicle. My question is, before I send the seats off to be reupholstered I wanted to double check that I wouldn’t be committing some heinous crime against humanity by accidentally reupholstering a holy grail rare velour interior

I’m not too keen to just slap an obnoxious sheepskin fur cover over them because the mold and condition is far worse in person. Camera really jades it (is it even green? It literally could just be mildew covered parchment. It’s all so fragile when I try to clean it the material just shreds)

Thoughts and advice greatly appreciated

Yes it would be sacrilege. :)

Unfortunately green velours in not available, but you could do in grey or pine green. Velours cost less than leather.

Please fill out this form asking for green velours. I know they are working on finding a supplier but if you let them know about demand that may help get it re made. I'm waiting on them to make Anthracite again.
