You make no sense and you don't know what you're talking about. I could buy it now if I was not buying anyone any christmas presents.

Never assume, it makes one look stupid.

i wouldn't
I'm thinking no too, because according to specs it does not get very good MPG at all, I might as well be driving a truck.

I've found a BMW 325is Coupe L6 MT for $2000 I'm liking a lot better. I'm looking to replace my Probe with a better quality vehicle.

what is there to assume about somebody not having the money to buy a 2500$ s class?? you do realize just catching up on routine fluid changes and system purges will run you more than that..

but hey go buy it. also go buy a bmw for 2000.

i can see you are misguided by that other benz you have. this is nothing like it. so forget it. 140 is in the same swamp as the 220/215 and 221.

you can either be realistic or pretend. ask the same question on the bmw boards and the responses will be the same. if they are anything else, they are lieing to you because they want to see you cry a few days after purchase

check the rear leveling suspension, engine harness and if the headgaskets been done. AC working? Those are the major $$. At least with the 140 you wont have rear subframes tearing off or the radiator and reservoir needing replacement every 80k.

windows, door close assist, seat bladders - these you can work on on your own time. Im sure youve seen and read it here that the 140 is not something cheap to keep. the 124 is a lot more reliable. but if you love the 140 as most of us here do, then it makes it easier

Well, I did run across a particular w124 that according to MSN autos has the same engine as the w140 I posted earlier.

Yeah I would go for a W124 over this particular car, the paint job with it's strange colours is enough to make me shy away.
