well. i just thought. maybe they dont ship here. because. the site is in polish with no option to change to english. and id have to translate the page to even register and checkout.

Why not click "Kontakt" at the top right of the site page and ask, if they speak English they will be able to respond. Actually, now you've got me a bit curious but I'd like to see the kit on a real-world car first. Let us know what you find out, the price seems reasonable if that's for the entire kit.

I did he contCt thing. It's a reall weird site. Even translated. Bare with me as I'm typing from my iPhone. Okay. So I did send them an email though he form. In English Nd I didn't get a response after two days. So literally right after I posted this. I had an idea. I translated mytext to polish. And voilà. I got a response.thing is. It is in polishh. Now I translated it. And this is what it says.

"Hello. Not yet we sent to the U.S.. If you tried to order from each such Schenker Shipment DB Schenker USA > Home They probably picked up the shipment from me that with them you would have to get along as it would cost. Set includes bodykit, front bumper mountings and halogen fog, rear bumper mountings and set spojleów threshold. How would you dogadał with Schenker then bodykit can order and pay for it on my account. How the money will come to know and I will give you if you send the bodykit Schenker. You"

I think he's trying to say (or did say just conversions blow)
uhm basically thaT thEy don't ship. But he would ship with that company whose website he listed. They would get the shipmen from him then I guess I would have to pay. I dunno. It's kinda sketchee. Then it kinda gets harder to understand. Lol. I'll get hack in contact and keep you updated if you like. =]

 

I wrote them as well not realizing you had already. Perhaps you could post in the "general" forum for someone who speaks Polish who could translate their reply more accurately? It seems the company he spoke of would arrange delivery for you and you pay them directly from what I can gather from their website. FedEx or UPS could probably do it as well for that matter. I'm curious what all parts are included, "spojleów threshold" sounds like it could be the side skirts. Do you know if these are basic fiberglass or a more durable composite?

 

hmm. im not really sure what it is made out of.

remember i said i saw the front bumper on ebay. that guy that is selling that is from the UK. I also got into contact with him. (i ebay messaged him before i even realized the picture said wojtmar and found the whole kit).

I asked him if he had the full kit and who made it.

he told me. he could get the full kit for a discount of 10%.
but i dont know his price for the full kit to begin with. he was asking almost 500 for just the front bumper!

and he said "the kit is made of stuning xtreme".
i have no clue what this meant. as i had asked him who it was made by. i was thinking maybe he meant made by that. but i googled and didnt find anything by that name. so im not sure.

but i did message the guy back and tell him i found the kit for about 500. and asked him his "10% discount price". lol.

and on a side note. the kit went up 4 dollars USD. on wojtmar site. LOL.

edit: btw yes "spojleów threshold" is the side skirts. hmm. I might be able to find someone who can translate it better. i forgot that before i crashed after work yesterday i replied, i asked him if it was possible to give me some sort of shipping estimate, and i also asked if he could speak english.

The site probably just uses an automatic currency converter, if so it will fluctuate every few days up or down, maybe get for even less if the time is right! lol

We didnt send anything to USA so far so if u would try to check out some speditor that can pick it up from Poland, ie. Schenker (DB Schenker USA > Home) they should be able to tell u price for that shipping. Set contains: Front bumper with handlings and foglights, rear bumper with handlings and a set of sideskirts.

So when u get some info from speditor and their price will be acceptable please contact me. Then i will send u my bank account number for money transfer and as soon as i get cash i will inform u so u can call Schenker to pick up ur stuff.

he said it was 15kg. which is like 30lbs.

what sucks is i got a quote from FedEX and UPS. and shipping is about the same price if not a little more htan the kit itself. its around 480-520$. pretty steep. i also contacted dbschenker just for another price. but eh. dont think i can get anyn better.

I guess like. its worth it. like no one has that kit, and if you think about it. most other kits are so outrageously priced. like the wald kit. crazy price then shipping. buying this kit with shipping is like. 300$ cheaper than the wald without shipped. (speaking from the only site i can find that sells the wald still)

about what its made out of. i forgot to ask the guy haha. so sorry about that. buttt. where the guy is selling the bumper on ebay he says. "high-quality fiberglass material"
so its prolly just your average fiberglass.

I think that's actually for the entire car, it's much more than the other kits and the last line says "if you want to buy the car, so email us".

The rear bumper looks VERY close to the sheetmetal, doesn't stick out as far as stock, I wonder if you have to lose the bumper shocks?!?! If it's fiberglass I would probably skip it altogether, too fragile for my use. Still a nice looking kit, I'm guessing somebody will end up with one soon. I'm going to post this on Club202 and see if anyone bites, those folks tend to do more in the line of aftermarket and kits. Would love to see one on a car stateside.

 

I would definitely have that front bumper if shipping wasnt a pain.

dat front bummper is sick i think it looks better in lighter color cars... damn it u can never find jack for w202 in the us lol!!!

 

I think if someone had enough ambition they could corner the market on W202 body kits and performance upgrades. If enough resources were found I could see that as a good business venture for the US.

 

That's an awesome body kit. Does anyone know if the chrome moulding on the car was painted, or was it removed?
