Any advice where to find a pair of new wiper blades for my 1998 W140 S500 UK specs? Hook wiper arm. Driver side 60cm and passenger sides 70cm.
Dealer said they don’t stock them anymore 😣

If you can get them they are very expensive and/or NLA.

Keep the old wipers and swap out the rubber blade using refills. That is what I do and it works well.
refills are available only in USA. price + shipping + all sort of taxes is almost the same as whole set here in Europe/UK.

OP has stated that they are no longer available from the dealer. A few years ago when they were in stock I was quoted £80 for a pair and someone else £120 some time after. I wasn't going to pay that for two wipers! Since then I too have been told that they are NLA from dealers. How much are dealers quoting in Europe for a set and what is the part number?

Refills don't have to be MB/Bosch although they are the best quality. I used generic ones bought online since I wasn't willing to pay to import refills from USA. The generic ones have lasted well and do a good job of clearing the screen. I can refill them many times over for what the dealer wanted for a complete wiper set or vs importing refills from the US.

Well I just bought BOSCH 700mm wiper blade set for 10EUR and replaced the inserts, trimming was done according to old wiper blade length. Simple as that
so you have access to some database where Bosch wipers are listed based on their length?
what about the metal part of wipers? you just use old ones or you were lucky and the metal part matches original wipers?
You say it is simple as that but i do not see any explanation.
thanks for any clarification in advance.

700mm wiper

Prices have risen ever since. But anyway, 26 euros are much cheaper than set of original ones or w140 BOSCH specific ones.

The part, which is circled in red, can be removed. I dont have any wipers on hand to show you the process. The wiper is disassemble. Maybe a bit of metal bending will be needed, but you can easily remove the insert and then swap it into your existing wiper

For the part numbers I recommend seeing my post; I repaired mine not too long ago.
