Gentleman.
Why is it that the windshield wipers stop right then and there when I turn the switch off?
It does not happen all of the time but it happens too many times.

Hey, me too! I've got the same problem, but it seems to be all of the time. I always assumed it was a relay somewhere. Anyone know why this happens?

Yeah thats a strange one. Could be a relay i suppose, but i dont know where it would be. So they work ok, its just the bit that tells them to 'park' doesnt do its thing?

Mine were doing it too. I removed the relay from the fusebox and cleaned the connectors with contact cleaner and a brass wire brush. After re-installing the relay they now work as they should. I don't have a diagram of the fusebox with me here at work, so I can't tell you which relay it was, but do a search of the forum. There is a diagram floating around that shows the function of each of the relays in the fusebox.
