I can't get power to my windshield washer pump. Can someone give me a wiring diagram or offer advice on how to trouble shoot this issue? I Have new pump motors installed on both systems. Neither washer pumps work nor do the headlight wipers. I don't care about the headlight ones but the other one is critical. All fuses are good I did check that. The windshield pump did work a year ago so I know the wires are not cut. Is there a relay for the pump? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My 1998 SL500has only one pump. I still have to work on my windshield washer that just stopped a couple of weeks ago. I think it only has one pump and I may have commented about it on another thread, not sure. I have had other priorities but should get this done before full winter comes here. In my case, I don't think any fuses are involved and I haven't taken the connector of of the pump to see if the motor is good or bad. I suspect that the worst case would be some contact in the steering column that is activated by pushing the stalk. If that's the case I don't think I want to dig into that.
