A couple of weeks ago I took my car in for a windshield replacement and I had them install OEM glass supplied by the local MB dealer. An indie did the work and they deal primarily with high end euro cars, specifically Jaguar but they do have lots of MB experience. My question is did they put my windshield moulding back on properly? Please see the pics, notice how the rubber piece that runs up both sides of the windshield on the outside ride up and over the black metal trim piece across the top. I am not sure this is correct. Also, just past this point along the black metal roof rails, there is another rubber piece that starts about 2-3 inches back and continues all the way to the rear. I don't remember there being a gap here before. If anyone is motivated to take a close up pic of this section of your car for comparison I appreciate it. They did say they would fix another trim piece I noticed so I am not implying they are anything but professional, I just want to have it all the work taken care of at the same time if it's needed.

Trim issue

The rubber strip set up on mine is the same, to the best of my knowledge the front windshield on this car never was replaced since I owned. Wondering if they replaced the hard cover trim? yours looks different (higher). They may need to put some black goo to hold that down. I am sure my rubber seal has shrunk but yours looks wider or not all the way seated. B

Thanks for making the effort, it's very helpful to me. Also thanks for the advice, I will have another look tomorrow with laptop in hand to compare images and see how mine stands up!
