I gather from searching old posts that fogging at the base of the front windshield could be a sign of AC problems or maybe clogged drains. Mine fogs when I first start the car and drive with the climate control off. If I turn it on the condensation immediately clears. It's pretty cool here in Gemany now and the AC runs with the heater to remove humidity, so it seems the AC is good. When the car is warmed up (interior) I can turn the climate control off and the glass does not fog up.

I'm hoping this is just a drain problem as from what I read AC problems seems to point to moisture on the glass when the climate control is on. Please feel free to correct my thinking if I'm totally off course here. How hard is it to clear the drains? Are they easy to find? Thanks!
