hey i got a question ..ok my window in my 92 300 e went down i tried to stop it half way but it kept going down now it wont go up..wen key is on u can hear it clik like every five minutes still stuck on the auto roll down i switched switches still same thing i dunno how to take panel off so someone please help its raining and cold lol any help much appreciated

Have you tried cleaning the switches in addition to switching them?

Cleaned the contacts in there and my windows responded like new.
It's pretty easy to do, not to mention how inexpensive it is.

YA I DUNNO IT DID IT TO ME BEFORE THEN ONE DAY IT WORKED I DUNNO HOW TO SEE IF ITS A REGULATOR AND THANKS FOR THE LINKS

door regulator

its probably the regulator. If you can hear it trying then you probably stripped a gear. it happened to me the motor was fine so i got a new gear box from the bone yard swapped it out and then I was good to go. You have to take the door panel off to get to it, not hard just be careful lots of plastic clips to break like the rear wiew side mirror piece and the clips for the handle on the back side. Don't force anything.

hey just so everyone knows i fixed it..i took it apart and theres four wires that r on 2 screws i touched one together it arked musta reset something now it works

Cool a door corrosion issue there thats a new one. What part of the country you from?
Here in IL corrosion is killing my MB everyday.
