I'm trying to figure out it would be smart to
have my windows tinted? I'm thinking about
darkening them very gently, i do not want
to give my car 'all-black' look. But on
the other hand i read in the TSBs that some
of the tints have a metallic layer, which
basically degrades reception performance (due
to all those antennas integrated into glass).
I'm also worrying that tint will become scratched
in short time. Maybe there is some high quality
paint that is mechanically resistant and does not
containt metal layer? (3M or something?)
I have a C320 magma red with blk interior.
I had the windows tinted about 4 months ago, looks great, no problems.

I asked my dealer, he gave me a local name & number. It was $250 and it has no metalic, I had all the windows done(except the front). they did 50% and if anything I thought it should be darker, but it's just right.
