I Bought light alloy wheels in Germany. Will my 205/55/16 stock continentals fit these 7.5 by 16 wheels with a 35mm offset. They will be going on a 2002 classic c240. The stock rims are 7 by 16. Any effects by the size difference? Thank you you tire Gurus

Wheel size

According the spec sheet at Tirerack.com, the Continental ContiTouring Contact CH95 tire can use wheels from 5.5" to 7" with 6.5" being the best.

I have the Michelin Energy MXV4+ tires on the Avantgarde sport package wheels, which are 0.5" wider than the stock wheels. Therefore I would imagine that you might be able to get them to fit as the Michelins are also the same size as the Contis.

I wouldn't use the Conti's because they recommend a max wheel width of 7.0" but, there are many tire manufacturers who recommend wider widths .... so the size would work
