Hey boss,

Thanks for the good info. I've been trying to find a 115 Amp alternator to fit my w126. Based on earlier threads, I saw some people trying to fit a Bosch AL129X 115Amp used in a Saab into the w126, and was thinking about going that route.

For the AC Delco model you listed, do you know that it fits without modifications? It sounded like with the AL129X there was a little screwing around to get it to fit.

Have you found a good price on these?

Thanks,
Smokin' 420

well here is the image i took off from AC Delco website..seems like a bolt in fitment but as specfied on the ACDelco website.. this is a replica / reman of AL129X

for more info

http://www.acdelco.com/html/catalog

Part #: 321-1401

Beware AC Delco online catalouge is very confuing and aggravating

for myself i had to take this route bcuz i couldnt find any AL129X in great condition over here (saudi arabia) so an AC Delco replica / reman is the best bet for me....

there is another model of AC Delco rated 130AMPS but sharing the same chasis...it would be cool to get the 130AMPS one instead 115 :)
