Tire sizes look good however the offsets are a little low for your vehicle. According to my guide you may have some clearance issues with the fenders. You may be able to roll the fenders to keep them from rubbing but that would be entirely up to you. We recommend a 35-40mm offset for the 8.5 on the front and a 35-40mm offset for the 10" rear wheel as well. That said the rear wheel may stick out about 1/4-1/2" not counting the tire and the front may be flush-1/4" sticking out not counting the tire.

The Post 2003 SL500 needed very large brake clearance so I don't think there will be an issue clearing the brakes on your CL500.

Hope this helps.

Hi I'm about to do a similar swap on a cl600. They guy has a set of 19" brabus replicas that are 8.5 front that seem to fit OK 9.5 in the rear and it looks like the rim sits flush with the rear quarter but it was hard to tell with no tire on the rim offset was 37 mm. These cars have a hydraulic suspension that if it fails at the valve block she drops to the turf and takes out the fenders if they stick out too far so i need to be sure. I test fit the bare rim on it and it was looking border line but without the suspension sitting with a load on it the camber may have pushed the rim out further than it would set loaded down with a tire on it. Decisions, Decisions any help from the forum would be greatly appreciated. Stockers are the 18 inch six hole Maybach type with a 44 offset. Thanks for any replies.
