I heard from a neighbor that wheels from a rear wheel drive Ford (Crown Vick etc.) will fit on a Mercedes. Checking the Discount Tire cross reference website I noted that the Ford size is listed as "5 X 114.3". Mercedes are typically 5 X 114, is that close enough? If true, this would open up the wheel selection possibilities a lot.

I'm in Australia and have rear wheel drive Ford Falcon wheels on my Mercedes. They fit perfectly even though the Merc is 112 and the ford is 114.3
I'm not sure why they just do unless Australia is different. Thanks

Verify bolt circle on those wheels. 114.3 will physically mount and bolt up to Benz hubs, but the lugs will not be centered and is unsafe.
