Is it ok to balance tires on a bent rim?? Will it cause vibrations while driving??

It really depends on how bent the wheel is. If the wheel is bent though, the structal integrity is compromised and should no longer be driven on IMO.

i have seen a bent rim cause severe vibration. it was a front wheel on a front wheel drive car.

Even a small dent can cause a vibration and as Matt noted, it opens the door to the question of structural integrity. A wheel failure is one of the scariest, most dangerous things you can imagine, so just replace it. Don't mess with it. Be around for 2011.
