hi,

when i put in park the rpm is jumping from 750-1000 rpms(up and down, again and again) but after about 20 seconds the car starts idle-ing better, pretty smooth around 750 (Not Perfect though 700-800rpm).

This routine happens all the time when i put in park. But other than that the car runs perfect, new maf, new throttle body, any ideas ?

not quite sure,
try scan for codes unless you're in aus where it ain't free and it's hard to find, if your in the us, there's plenty of places for it

ok what do u think a new camshaft position sensor costs ?

in australia i got mine for about $70, i don't know if it's what'll fix it but i reckon it's worth a try

Hello lodfill,

Please do not purchase the camshaft position sensor without verifying that it is infact the cause of your problems.

Scan the car for OBDII codes first; that will give you a pretty good indication of what the problem is.

IF it does turn out to be the cause of your problems, purchase a camshaft position sensor from AutohausAZ where it retails for US$119.00 approximately.

yea i'm definitely going to scan for codes first, but i think it is most likely the camshaft position sensor, i suspected that before i posted the thread just wanted to get your opinion Thanks
