The other day my Battery/Alternator light came up. I thought maybe the battery was getting old. Two days later while going to work the radio shut off at a stop light, drove a few more blocks and the car turned off. Luckily it was right in front of my work, still had to push it into parking lot. I decided to go ahead and buy the battery since I had my alternator rebuilt a year ago, the car started right up. Now I hear a hissing coming from the front passenger speaker which goes away after driving a few minutes. The lumbar airbags in the seats were not working and just started to work the day after I changed battery. Now the Battery/Alternator light came up again. The guy supposedly rebuilt the stator and I bought new brushes for better contact. I'm almost ready to throw a match at the car, LOL. I'm going to Auto Zone later today to have them check the charging system. They do it for free so I will take advantage of that.....

I'd start by checking all of the chassis ground points.
