Will be interesting to see where the bidding goes . It’s fine to replicate to the highest standard but this is still just a replica

To each his own, different strokes, one mans treasure and all that but let's be real for a minute and all agree that red is a terrible interior colour.

High quality camera work
The Gray Zebra trim theme does not work in my own personal opinion - trying too hard to be edgy & bold
Piano Black or Birdseye would have pulled it off much better if deviating away from Burlwood
The red leather seats look cool but would have pulled if off much better if the rest of the interior was black except for the upper half door trim remaining red and the coin trays under the dash black with the narrow padded trim strip above remaining red - but each to their own i suppose in taste
Same for the trunk carpet - it should have been black

I've seen that AMG kit on eBay going for about 1500 from vsaero. Is that the only supplier these days? Any feedback from anyone?

VSaero is the same duraflex made kit as far as i know as VSaero is just an Agent and it appears an installer as well.
The kit is not carbon-fibre - it is the duraflex product which is like fibreglass with a resin included to allow it to flex more without cracking.
The product is not very thick and requires skill & work to ensure a dead flat finish to the surface with no waves (it is nothing like carbon fibre)

So is it a good product for the price?

That's something only you can answer.

If it were me, I wouldn't consider it. The purchase price of this kit is only the start of a big and expensive project and to make it worth the expense and effort I'd rather start with a better quality kit.

However, there are few kits available out there and finding a better one will require a lot of patience and internet sleuthing. There is also a big price difference between this kit and a $1/4 million custom carbon fibre build.

Decision, decisions...

I know. I just want to see it in person first.

I helped my son build his Nissan rocketbunny car, and this Benz is for me to drive as my daily.

I purchased and imported one of these WB kits from vsaero a few years ago including the bumpers as i was planning one day to fit it to my white coupe.
In my own personal opinion i would be re-inforcing those long rear flares as they are too flimsy as far as i am concerned.
The front qtrs have lots of angles so probably not as difficult to work with but again i am thinking a lot of prep work
The bumpers are one piece molds and a bit of work involved in attaching them to bumper rails and requires Euro hardware to mount them to (not the US hardware)
The bumper molds are based on Gen1 bumper shape (not Gen2) so a bit of mix & match look as you can see on the pics in this thread
The side rear trim panels are not curved to the rear wheel arch (the proper WB kit those rear covers are curved out to the shape of the flair) and it would require some DIY mod work to achieve a curve shape.
Requires the usual outer cutting and tubbing work to the rear wheel wells after the wheel arch lips are cut off
The front requires and extra pair of plastic wheel tub splash guards to cut up two to create one wider splash guard to fill the void
Of course a ton of panel prep work before any primer is laid down
All of course doable if you are very handy - versus very expensive if you had to outsource to a panel & paint shop due to the intensive labour required to get it right.

To compare:
I do have the real deal WB kit also for my black coupe project i imported some yrs ago from the small batch that was available back then and that is much more solid than the duraflex kit in stregnth and rigity and will be a lot easier to install when i find the time once my black coupe is finished off and re-registered (re-licensed) then i will start the WB work which i am aiming for this year to get it all done.
