Almost every modell of mercedes benz is in tis site, so why is the W115 series missing? (It's the predecessor of the W123 series). I'm very interested in buying one but I can't find anywhere information.
so, I hope that the people who own this (although wonderfull)site, consider to have a forum post placed.

I thank you ,
matteus

I would have thought it's the same reason why there's not one for the W110, W111, W108 etc., the number of posts won't be enough to fill a forum. I would like to see a classic forum though![:)]

There we go! The first post I ever made on this forum was I felt that the W115 Chassis is being neglected! The 114/115 chassis cars are my favorite. But I think Heckflosse is right - there wouldn't be quite enough chatter to justify it - hell, this forum is usually pretty dead and the W123 is one of the most popular Mercedes' out there! And I agree again with Heckflosse that they should have a Classic forum.

By the way, what info are you looking for? Over the past few years I have collected quite a bit of info on the W115 cars.

P.P.S - it's /8 or "StrichAcht" (hense the name "StrichAcht 240D") in German.

(Post Edit) - But you knew that already because your from belgium - my mistake!

Or....The nickname 'Fintail' or 'Heckflosse' given to the 60's Mercedes because of the fins on the rear. The word Heckflosse is simply the German translation of the word Fintail, hence my user name. And before somebody points it out I know my coupe doesn't have the fins![:D][:D][:D][:D]
