Unbelievable! I have never noticed that. I actually had to go look at some examples and you are correct. The side marker on my 2001 is less than two inches forward of the door and is vertically below the line of the door handles. On a 1998 sample I found, it’s about six inches forward of the door and almost vertically aligned with the door handles. Learn something new everyday!

The 430s came with body matching bumpers and mirrors. The 320s did not.

noodles are you asking me? yes, she is running find in fact i told my friend why is it evrytime that your vehicle came from service and once you drive it it feels and drive like new again[]is it just me or what.

We just had some work done and I am not sure if it is an illusion, but it does seem to feel better.

I have a 99 and the side marker is installed towards the door edge. Wasn't it just the 98 that are forward?

Since I post the thread asking you about '00 ML vs '02 ML, I saw 2 other MLs on sale, an '01 and another '02 ML320, also another '01 ML270 which was being serviced. I just noticed and knew that the ML for asian market(Graz built i assume since all the VIN starts with WDC..) still using grey bumpers (many owners has repainted the bumpers so the first 2 MLs I saw on sale was already matched with body paint). I also saw a picture of ML that is owned by a japanese guy, 2002 model, not facelifted, and grey bumper.
I'm just wondering why we still get grey bumpers (while in the US, MY2000 MLs' bumpers are already color coded) and I'm so regreting being the 2002 model is not facelifted yet for here. [?]
