In case you were again wondering if I was being unpatriotic or anti Semite

Israeli-made weapons were allegedly discovered in Islamic State hideouts in northwestern Syria by regime troops on Monday.

According to Syria’s state-run SANA news, troops found a variety of arms, ammunition and telecommunication devices, including “an Israeli-made artillery piece, 800 mortar shells, a machine gun with 10,000 bullets, in addition, an amount of bullets of 17 mm., 14,5 mm. and 30 mm. machine-guns and an RPG [rocket-propelled grenade], three RPG launchers and a number of telecommunication devices.”
When is our government going to come out clean from this charade?

There's also a valid argument to bring the idiots home to be charged and imprisoned so we can at least keep an eye on them so they don't run riot and form some other murderous cabal in someone else's country.

yeah but that involves taxpayer $$$ for trial and imprisonment plus they might find another radical cause while incarcerated and they will probably be released someday with minimal prospects of being meaningful contributors

better they should get blown up/shot/stabbed on somebody else's turf- they made their choice

^Well, if they are tried in Iraq, the trial lasts about 5 minutes, at the most..if found guilty, they would be taken outside and be executed immediately.

In case you were wondering where our tax$$ for that region is going
The head of Al-Qaeda's former Syria affiliate has urged rival fighters allied to Turkey to take up arms against regime forces to ease the pressure on the jihadist bastion of Idlib.

The northwestern region has come under increasing fire by the Damascus regime and its ally Russia in recent weeks, despite a months-old buffer zone deal intended to shield the area from any government offensive.

Syria's former Al-Qaeda affiliate Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) controls most of Idlib province as well as parts of neighbouring Aleppo, Hama and Latakia provinces.

HTS chief Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, in a video released Friday on the group's messaging app Telegram, said fighters backed by Turkey "could help us by launching an operation in Aleppo, for example".

"Dispersing the enemy and opening up new fronts is in our interest," he added.

Jolani's call comes days after he urged supporters to "take up weapons" to defend Idlib.

Turkey, a longtime backer of Syria's rebels, supports various groups in Idlib to differing degrees and has actively sought to unify them.

Ankara also operates monitoring posts in Idlib, positioned in a horseshoe-shape around the edges of rebel territory, and has troops deployed to the east in Aleppo province.

The Turkish army has launched two major operations in Syria dubbed "Euphrates Shield" in 2016 and "Olive Branch" in 2018 to combat Syrian Kurdish fighters as well as Islamic State group jihadists.
Then we get all indignant when they have a beheading party video

You think the last five years have been something ?

Fukk around in Iran...there will very few safe places left in the Middle East for U.S. troops.

Go ahead, grapple with the Cat.

There are covert ways to put pressure on the Arab countrys that have been supporting the west..enough pressure to turn them against the west.

Geuss who would be the first to feel the wrath?

You guessed it...Saudi Arabia..hell, even bin Laden hated them for sucking up to the west.
If anyone thinks that mindset evaporated with Usama..they have another think coming.

The Arabs and Persians are playing the Long game..right now, just ride it out until trump is gone..see where they stand with a new administration..then begin prepareing for the next phase.

Syria will slowly be rebuilt..Chinas New Belt Road is in full swing..China and Russia need Syria and Iran intact in order to connect their initiative.

Interesting times ahead.
Now...sack Bolton..pronto.

Our NATO ally openly helping ISIS so that it will not be its last stand against the Syrian forces.
Now why in the hell is that?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/turkey-sends-weapons-syrian-rebels-151537301.html

AMMAN, May 25 (Reuters) - Turkey has equipped an array of mainstream Syrian rebels it backs with fresh supplies of weaponry to help them try to repel a major Russian-backed assault, senior opposition officials and rebel sources said on Saturday.

Russia is backing the Syrian army's large aerial and ground assault as it seeks to gain control of the last big stretch of rebel-held territory in the northwest of the country.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad launched the assault last month, saying rebels had breached an existing ceasefire, triggering a civilian exodus by bombarding Idlib and adjacent areas. It has been the biggest escalation since last summer between Assad and his enemies in Idlib province and a belt of territory around it.

Actually they are the total embodiment of "mankind"....you must assimilate to their creed...or DIE..!!

Actually, I'd still prefer to have to deal with the Borg..than ISIS..
