Lot's of negative about the C-coupe so lets start a new thread in the interests of educating others.

Coupe is not as common as sedan, + for coupe.

Coupe handles better then sedan + for coupe.

Coupe looks more european compared to more tradional looking sedan + for coupe

Coupe is more utilitarian compared to sedan + for coupe

Most coupes cost less then sedans + for coupe

Tradional looking sedans can carry more people and get them in and out easier + for sedan
Tradional looking sedans look more like our fathers car then a coupe + for coupe

Score 5 coupe 1 sedan

[:D] Coupe; homies can't put DUBS on it +1
[:D] Coupe; less owners with imperialist views and moster egos! +1

I really like the utility of my coupe. People have been shocked at the amount of stuff the hatch can hold. Including furniture and a friend's brand new 42" boxed plasma TV. This, more than anything has drawn the most compliments from my friends (yes, they've said nice things about the standard safety features and some of the bells & whistles that were done as options).

The only real complaint received from those same friends is the inconvenience of getting in the rear seats, even with the easy entry feature. I tell them not to worry, the driver is very comfortable. [:D]

Some minor complaints about reaching back for the seat belts in the front seats. My dealer told me the extenders are no longer available for sale.

I didn't go shopping for a MB, I went shopping for a car that meets my needs, and the hatchback is the best match for my lifestyle and requirements. Mine is new, so I don't know what I like/don't like about it yet ... but I think I'll miss the extra 40% space in the trunk that I would have gotten from the RSX-S (I almost never carry backseat passengers, so I care that the front seat folks are comfortable, but the extra room in the rear seats isn't important for me).

You mention "extenders" ... I also have noticed the seat belts are very hard to get at. What were the extenders (how did they work?)? , maybe I could look for a set on e-bay...???

coupe is same wheel base as sedan but 7" shorter, 1/2" lower, and coupe has bolstered front seats.

Since this design geometry puts the wheels closer to the front and rear of the vehicle with the driver held firmer in the seat it means significantly improved handling over its bulkier sedan sister.

PS: When at home some sedan owners have to go outside to get to their refrigerator!

Come on guys face it, we have the same damn cars, lets not fight over 2 extra doors in the back..i ask you guys to please get over it. And sorry for caling those two guys idiots[:I]

No one was fighting on this thread. Until you posted, everyone was posting why they bought the coupe. If he coupe didn't exist when I bought my car, I would be driving a Lexus IS300. I never even considered a C240. That is grandma's car. BTW, I am more than old enough to be a grandpa.

True in most cases like CL vs. S, CLK vs. E ... I don't really "feel" the C coupe vs. C sedan tho.

I have a serious question, and I ask in the interest of a healthy conversation, not a debate. Some other's have commented on different forums and several different threads.

How would you describe the "feel" of the sedan and coupe, and how do they compare?

Later model years had a plastic attachment at the upper anchor point which brought a portion of the seatbelt forward about 5 - 6 inches making easier to grab the belt. Don't know if you can get them on e-bay. Can't hurt to look.

Hey NUK "feel" is a subjective word. I think first you would have to drive each vehicle to get a better feel for handling characteristics.
Or beginning with design geomeotry to explain "feel" I offer that the coupe is same wheel base as sedan but 7" shorter, 1/2" lower, and coupe has bolstered front seats.

I've read a lot of posts about "feel". I know it's subjective, but there seems to be a strong contingent who think the coupe just does "feel" as good as the sedan.

I've driven the 240, 320 230 sedan and sport. I know what feel is to me, and I know what I feel when I am driving, and what I am looking to feel when selecting a car. I also know what things impact the "feel" of a car, from spring rates to driving ergonomics. What are other people looking for, and what makes the coupe or sedan "fee" better to them?
