The black needles on the white faces is good. The contrast between the two makes them very easy to see in any kind of light. I just wish someone made gauge faces like the new cars where they are backlit. I'd have mine be black faces with red lettering, and the illumination be black letters and red backlight. Those are pretty nice... too bad they don't work for my car
