Looking at MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S PLUS, Continental ExtremeContact DWS and Bridgestone Potenza or Bridgestone Turanza Serenity. Any comment about the above tires? In live in the Northwest and yes we do have some rain in the winter. I would like a quite tire that fits the ride. Is it true that the MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S PLUS get less gas mileage? The car now has a tire size of 225/55-16 which is also listed on the inside door plate.

I noticed that every single online resource for purchasing tires is saying that the OEM wheel is 17 inch which is WRONG! Like you said it's 16 inch on my car too. I don't want to put the wrong setup on my car and mess up the 4matic or the computers.

I prefer to have a winter set and a summer set. Did you settle on something? I'm considering finding some 16 inch OEM's and just replacing them.
