If it were my decision, I’d sell the 300SD and keep the 500.

Ask yourself this... which one is easier to maintain, cheaper to maintain, gives you less trouble, cheaper insurance, in overall better shape... and see what you come up with. When you're asking a w126 crowd to decided for or against a w126, the results will be biased.

i would post in 116 but there isn't any forum that I can find. The diesel only has 130,000 on it and the 500 has 260,000, but still very strong. Diesel would be easier to maintain and i'm interested in bio-diesel.

That diesel is indestructable, and that's a Low mileage diesel you have. I'd keep both..diesel for every day and the 500 for the w/e's:)

Gotta agree with Jonathan here. The SD looks pretty good, at least from one side. I try to use the SD for the little things but gotta admit it's hard when the SE is a such a kick to drive.

I'd love to keep both. I don't have to much parking though. Maybe I'll try to pull it off. It also might be hard to find someone to buy the SEL for close to what it is worth.
