Hello Benzworld!
I'm new to this forum, and Mercedes Benz cars.
I'm contemplating ordering a 2018 S560 Sedan.
My top priorities are a quiet, smooth, and a comfortable ride. Also a great sound system.
My toughest decision on building the car is which wood trim to choose! lol I haven't been able to personally see all the different options.
I would like to hear everyone's personal preferences. Also post pictures if you have them.

My choice for the interior is Black Exclusive Napa leather.

The trim options are:
Black Poplar Wood.
AMG Carbon Fiber/Black Piano Lacquer Wood.
Light Burl Walnut Wood.
Designo Black Piano Lacquer Wood.
Designo Black Piano Lacquer Wood with Flowing Lines.
Designs Natural Grain Black Ash Wood.
Designs Natural Grain Brown Ash Wood.

Thanks for your replies.

It'll help when you decide if you want the wood to stand out or not. The popular black poplar didn't offer enough contrast for me. My 2017 W222 has black Nappa with burr walnut and after 9 months I'm still glad I choose it. Shame my phone hasn't a camera that shows justice to the black leather, it really isn't light grey!

By comparison I've added the MB configurator pics I saved when speccing up my car.

Our Maybach has the dark wood that is very hard to see the grain unless the sun hits it. I would not get that again if you want a wood look.

PS you said you want a nice sound system. Be sure to get the Burmeister 3d system. It might be $$ but its priceless once you hear it ...........
